I’m very excited to announce that I have my published my very first ebook. Wohoo! After blogging for over two years, I decided to release a short book of gluten-free recipes. I don’t cook gluten-free all the time, but I am always amazed at how popular my gluten-free recipes are, so I dedicated some time to come up with some new gluten-free treats. More …

Last week I was given something very special. My grandmother gave me her first ever cookbook ‘Good Housekeeping’ which was given to her by her Mother. The book dates back to the nineteen fifties and the old yellowed pages are splattered and stained. The spine is coming apart from over-use and the pages are clinging on by just a few threads. The book is crammed with hand written recipes and notes neatly penned by my grandmother. It’s also cluttered with cut-outs from the paper with recipes that caught her eye. I feel like I am going back in time, as I read the old recipes and paper cuttings from a time gone by.
At first glance this picture might look like three cats eating from a dish, but it is in fact two cats and a hen! You might remember from my previous post that the cats were a little suspicious of the free range hens, however a lot has changed since then. I am sad to say that the hens were attacked and savaged by a local dog and now there remains only one single hen. She was always the plucky one and apparently she cleverly hid in the garage when the dog came, but she was pretty shaken when found.
